Greetings and Announcements
*Call to Worship:
Leader: In deep gratitude we come to worship God.
People: We recognize God as the source of all goodness.
Leader: All good gifts come from the Spirit of God:
People: love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, gentleness are all of God.
Leader: We come with grateful hearts, not for things, but for who God is.
People: We gather to show our gratitude in song and prayer.

*Hymn: #189 (UMH) “Fairest Lord Jesus”

Prayer for our service in the love of Christ:
O Lord, our creator, who by your blessed Son has taught us that you are love: Bless us all who, following in Jesus’ steps, hope to serve our brothers and sisters. Grant unto us clear vision to perceive those things which in our social order are wrong; give us true judgment, courage, and perseverance to help those that suffer injustice, and endue us with unfailing love to minister to the poor, the suffering, and the friendless. Make us aware of our kinship with one another as your children that we may strive wisely to order all things among us according to your will. In the name of him who laid down his own life for us, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Sunday Worship time is now 10:30 am!

But don't be fooled by the radio
  The TV or the magazines
They show you photographs of how your life should be
But they're just someone else's fantasy
So if you think your life is complete confusion
Because you never win the game
Just remember that it's a grand illusion
And deep inside we're all the same
We're all the same --Styx, “The Grand Illusion”
